In 2014, Carmel residents Claudio and Anna Bertolini transformed their outdoor living with the StruXure Adjustable Louvered Roof system, an innovative concept pioneered by former teacher and entrepreneur Scott Selzer. Captivated by the system’s quality and functionality, they upgraded their pergola, coining it “The Smart Pergola®,” a nod to its intelligent design. Their passion for this product and extensive professional background propelled them to become StruXure’s official representatives in Indiana, marking the inception of “The Smart Pergola”® in the state.
